Job Summary:

Voyage Care is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our team in a leadership role. As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to individuals with autism, complex needs, and challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to support staff in delivering high-quality care and support to individuals.
  • Develop and implement care plans that promote independence and well-being.
  • Conduct regular supervision and training sessions to ensure staff are equipped to meet the needs of individuals.
  • Manage medication and ensure individuals receive the support they need to manage their finances.
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure the smooth operation of the service.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker or in a similar leadership role.
  • Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, complex needs, and challenging behaviors.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
