Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Curriculum Lead to join our team at Pearson. As a key member of our Assessment management team, you will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of national curriculum assessments in English.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assessment Development
  • Develop and implement assessment strategies to ensure accurate and timely delivery of national curriculum assessments in English.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and develop high-quality assessment materials.
Team Leadership
  • Lead a team of subject matter experts and assessment developers to ensure the successful delivery of national curriculum assessments in English.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
Quality Assurance
  • Ensure that all assessment materials are of high quality and meet the required standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of assessment strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
Stakeholder Management
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including subject matter experts, assessment developers, and other team members.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and that they are informed of progress and any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in assessment development and delivery.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
