Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highways Supervisor to join our team at CPS Group (UK) Limited. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our highway projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Client Project Manager to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery of project objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and client project teams to foster a culture of effective communication and collaboration.
- Ensure that construction activities are carried out in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Assist in the management of change orders to minimize disruptions and optimize project outcomes.
- Bring expertise in working on Highways and Transport infrastructure projects, particularly in active travel, walkway, and cycleway initiatives.
- Experience working on multiple projects with values ranging from £100,000 to £25 million is highly desirable.
- Possess relevant NEC contract and professional qualifications, as well as knowledge of CDM, health and safety, and environmental regulations.
- Hold a valid driving license and business insurance, and possess an appropriate level of CSCS Card.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of working in highway projects with a strong understanding of NEC contracts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills to manage change orders and ensure project delivery.
