Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and interventions, while also leading and managing a team of nursing staff.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse with 6-12 months post-registration experience.
  • Active NMC registration and completed preceptorship or equivalent program.
  • Knowledge of NMC standards, guidelines, and professional practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to different environments.
  • IT literate and proficient in using electronic patient records.
