Fantastic Opportunity for a Support Worker in Pembrokeshire

We are seeking a caring and passionate Support Worker to join our Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and complex needs in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing specialist support to individuals, enabling them to live happy, healthy, and meaningful lives.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

  • Encouraging independence and supporting individuals to make their own choices.
  • Ensuring the safety of the service users.
  • Following care plans for each individual.
  • Taking service users out into the community.
  • Participating in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips.
  • Varying levels of personal care.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be:

  • Resilient and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to drive due to the location of the service.
  • Happy to provide personal care.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £26,477 - £26,926 (including sleeps) + plenty of overtime available. You will also have the opportunity to complete professional qualifications - fully funded. Our service is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for our staff and service users.
