Retail Manager Job Description

Luxe Talent International is seeking a highly skilled Retail Manager to lead our client's UK and Ireland operations. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving sales and profitability, managing local retail operations, and ensuring the overall region's performance meets expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage local retail operations, including a network of over 20 corners and boutiques.
  • Maximize sales and profitability, ensuring the region's P&L and performance meet qualitative results and operational KPIs.
  • Lead two Regional Managers in charge of different regions, providing guidance and support to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and manage key staff, ensuring personal development paths and retention strategies are in place.
  • Implement and apply standards, including customer experience, CRM management, HR policies, training, visual merchandising, stock controlling, and more.
  • Ensure smooth cooperation and link between local operations and Head Office support functions.
  • Plan, organize, and implement commercial operations, identifying local marketing opportunities and developing strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Manage new point of sales opening projects from acquisition to official opening, ensuring a seamless transition.
  • Develop and manage relationships between the brand and local partners, including landlords and distributors, at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Define optimal stock levels per store and work with the Supply Chain team to ensure proper stock allocation and deliveries.
  • Collaborate with the Head Office Finance team to define key commercial targets and financials for all local retail activity.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree required.
  • 5+ years of retail experience, preferably in luxury or affordable luxury segments.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience managing a team, with a proven success record in sales, KPIs, and team development.
  • Result-oriented with a good command of figures and strong attention to performance indicators.
