Position Overview:
This role involves ensuring the quality of parts through meticulous inspection and testing processes. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards within the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and analyze technical engineering drawings to assess specifications, tolerances, and datum structures.
  • Utilize precision measurement tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to verify part dimensions.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels to promote quality assurance practices.
  • Employ IT systems, including Microsoft Office and databases, to document and track inspection results.
  • Possess qualifications equivalent to NVQ Level 3 in Engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Materials, or Electrical.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a Quality Assurance team within a manufacturing context.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and standards, including ISO 9001 and IATF.
  • Strong analytical skills for problem-solving through data evaluation.
  • Background in calibration laboratory practices.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or PolyWorks software.
  • Experience with CMM measuring and/or 3D scanning techniques is advantageous.
