Job Summary

Morgan Law is seeking an experienced HR generalist to join our dynamic team as an Interim Senior HR Consultant. This 10-month fixed-term contract will cover maternity leave and provide an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

As an HR generalist, you will provide expert advice and guidance on complex employment matters to internal customers of Bedfordshire Police, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Constabularies. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing guidance on attendance, performance, conduct, grievances, pay matters, and change management
  • Working closely with departmental managers and People Business Partners to establish effective working relationships
  • Managing a team of HR Consultants and being accountable for the performance and delivery of localised HR support
  • Identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to better support customers
  • Working with internal and external peers to ensure efficient and innovative thinking in ER people practice

What We Offer

Morgan Law supports agile working, offering flexibility for homeworking and a work base of either Godmanchester (Huntingdon) or Hatfield. You will be expected to work flexibly across sites in Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, and Bedfordshire as the work demands. Our sites are accessible by public transport.
