Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Air Conditioning Specialist to join our team at CBRE GWS. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our commercial HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate, inspect, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems in assigned facilities to achieve optimal results.
  • Ensure that equipment is being maintained in a safe and efficient manner, minimizing downtime through proactive performance testing and scheduled maintenance.
  • Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
  • Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior/exterior repair.
  • Inspect building HVAC and plumbing systems to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by clients.
  • Perform assigned repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance, completing maintenance and repair records as required.
  • Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
  • Review historical maintenance records to develop proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Operate company vehicles in a safe manner and follow prescribed routines to service locations in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.
  • Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers.
  • Coordinates and assigns tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.
