Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join SC Johnson Professional as a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist, working within the Customer Financial Services department (Credit Control) to drive financial performance and improve collections and credit management operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the credit risk for a portfolio of customer accounts, making informed credit decisions within the DOA framework.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers to ensure timely cash receipt, allocation, and query resolution.
- Process incoming claims, investigate price and logistics claims, and minimize the risk of bad and doubtful debts through credit management best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and maximize efficiency.
- Reconcile the subsystem (TSM) to SAP GL accounts and prepare month-end reporting.
Requirements
- Fluency in English and German, with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in an accounting environment or accounts receivable role.
- Intermediate experience with Excel for reporting and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail, process improvement orientation, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
