As the Automation Shift Manager, you will be responsible for directing your team to minimize downtime and ensure optimal uptime and availability of our automated equipment. Your technical leadership and commitment to service quality will directly support our operational efficiency by utilizing a broad range of skills and taking a proactive approach to performance improvement.

This role requires a 50/50 split between leading your team and engaging in hands-on maintenance activities.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Effectively plan and organize the activities of your shift team, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to your team members, fostering their growth and development.
  • Conduct performance management, including formal reviews, to ensure high standards are met.
  • Analyze data and implement strategies to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of automation systems within the overall operational framework.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Your Skills and Experience:

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with proven experience in managing and maintaining automated systems. You should possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

A relevant engineering qualification and demonstrable experience within a similar role would be highly advantageous.
