Key Responsibilities

As a Fund Finance Associate at Rutherford, you will lead and support the structuring and execution of fund finance transactions. This will involve:

  • Drafting and negotiating relevant legal documents and agreements with precision.
  • Providing expert legal advice and support to both lenders and sponsors/borrowers.
  • Conducting comprehensive due diligence on fund structures and partnership documents.
  • Analyzing financial documents and assessing risks associated with financing arrangements.
  • Ensuring that financing arrangements comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Staying abreast of legal and regulatory developments impacting fund finance.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-4 years of post-qualification experience gained at an international or leading domestic law firm.
  • Strong expertise in fund finance transactions, with a solid understanding of fund structures and partnership documents.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate complex legal documents with precision.
  • Strong client service orientation with a proactive approach to business development.
  • Commercially driven with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
