We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a full-time teaching assistant in secondary schools in the Somerset area.

The role involves providing 1:1 support to students, aiding with their learning, and ensuring they stay on task and follow the school's behavior policies. Having knowledge of ADHD, ASD, or SEN would be beneficial.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those who have had classroom experience as a learning support assistant or TA, or for those looking to step back from leading the class and focus on supporting individual students.

We offer a competitive rate of £90-£100 per day, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting learning in the classroom, 1:1 and small groups
  • Assisting with classroom behavior management
  • Ensuring the classroom and displays are presentable and all resources are available
  • Aiding students with pastoral care
