Operations Manager

As an Operations Manager at Ingram Micro, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of warehouse professionals to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our UK-based warehouse. Your primary goal will be to drive productivity, quality, and cost reduction initiatives while maintaining a safe and secure work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate business objectives into operational plans and goals for the warehouse team.
• Manage multiple operational areas, including labor agencies, to ensure optimal performance and results.
• Develop and implement robust operational planning, control, and monitoring processes to improve accuracy and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with local and global KPIs, including service and productivity metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including transportation, sales, customer support, finance, and IT, to drive business growth and improvement.
• Support the development and execution of warehousing operational budgets, including capital and operational expenses.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including LEAN and Operational Excellence programs.
• Develop and maintain process knowledge and best practices to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Ensure a safe and secure work environment, adhering to current Health and Safety guidelines and 5S Culture.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience managing a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proven track record of successful management and accomplishments in implementing productivity improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Strong analytical, project, and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of business needs and operational requirements.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work positively with front-line teams and senior leadership.
• Results-driven, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting business objectives.
