XPO Logistics is a leading provider of supply chain solutions, and we're seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in leading and managing a variety of projects, from operational continuous improvement to new client business wins, TUPE's, and new warehouse & transport operations set-up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, using tracking charts, checklists, and project scheduling software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans.
  • Manage project resources, including workstream leads and operational resources, to achieve project objectives.
  • Document project data and analytics throughout the project life cycle.
  • Communicate project progress and updates to senior stakeholders, including project timelines and spend.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a logistics projects team.
  • Experience in whole project lifecycle delivery, ideally in the warehouse, transport, or supply chain arena.
  • Ability to manage people well to complete projected deliverables on time.
  • Prince2 or similar professional qualification.
  • Effective risk management and contingency planning to mitigate project risks identified.
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptable, assertive, collaborative, and resilient.
  • Analytical with high attention to detail, structured, and methodical.
  • Ability to build a strong team and enjoy working as part of a team.
