Job Title: Social Value Manager

ISG is seeking a highly skilled Social Value Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for delivering social value in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop the Social Value team to ensure delivery of social value requirements.
  • Input to tender research via the ISG Local Needs Analysis approach to ensure social value standards are met.
  • Meet client, stakeholder, legislative, and internal requirements on social value standards.
  • Provide advice and support to project teams to ensure they are managing and delivering social value in line with requirements.
  • Advise the commercial team on securing supply chain involvement to drive continuous improvement against ISG objectives and client requirements.
  • Produce social value plans and related social value process documents to ensure accuracy and performance data.
  • Identify and liaise with relevant partner organizations to deliver social value requirements.
  • Monitor and review social value data to ensure accuracy and performance data.
  • Train project-based social value champions to deliver project social value responsibilities.
  • Input to and support the delivery of the regional social value action plan.
  • Support other Social Value staff in the region to ensure delivery of social value requirements.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Social Value in Public Procurement.
  • Experience of delivery against TOM's (themes, outcomes, and measures).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to deal confidently with colleagues, subcontractors, and external consultants.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Experience and understanding of social value issues in construction.
