Job Title: Assistant Primary SENCO

LTF Recruitment Ltd is seeking a dedicated and organised Assistant SENCO to support the SENCO in the Primary department at a large all-through school in Harrow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the SENCO with the day-to-day management of SEND provision, ensuring a smooth and effective delivery of services.
  • Completing essential paperwork, including EHCPs, and maintaining accurate records to support the SENCO.
  • Providing administrative support to the SENCO, including preparing reports and presentations.
  • Collaborating with teachers and support staff to develop and implement individualised learning plans.
  • Supporting the SENCO in monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of SEND provision.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a SENCO or similar role, with a strong understanding of SEND provision.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with staff, students, and parents.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
