Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the SENCO with the day-to-day management of SEND provision, ensuring effective implementation of strategies to meet the needs of students with special educational needs.
  • Complete essential paperwork, including EHCPs and other relevant documentation, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualised plans for students with SEND.
  • Provide administrative support to the SENCO, including maintaining accurate records and databases.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a SENCO or similar role, with a strong understanding of SEND legislation and policies.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
