About the Role
The Catering Assistant will work as part of a team to provide high-quality catering services to patients and staff within the Trust. This role requires excellent communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work independently.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving food, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and adhering to food hygiene standards. They will also be expected to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays, and to demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexibly and independently
- Current Level 2 food hygiene certificate or willingness to work towards this qualification
- Catering experience is essential for this post
