This position entails working from 9 AM to 2 PM on a daily basis, totaling 25 hours per week, with a competitive salary of up to £24,000 pro rata.
The primary objective of this role is to facilitate the overall functioning of the office, acting as a representative for office services and performing various housekeeping tasks to ensure a seamless work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming and assisting visitors upon arrival.
- Providing refreshments to guests.
- Maintaining cleanliness in meeting rooms and common areas, including restocking supplies.
- Collaborating with cleaning staff through the Comments Book.
- Identifying and reporting maintenance issues to the Office Manager.
- Coordinating with contractors as needed.
- Organizing the reception and shared kitchen spaces.
- Managing documents and securely shredding confidential materials.
- Monitoring kitchen inventory and placing orders as necessary.
- Conducting regular assessments of stationery supplies and ordering accordingly.
- Preparing workspaces for new employees, including ordering necessary items.
- Facilitating office orientations for new hires.
- Delivering mail to the local postal service.
- Scanning documents as required.
- Handling travel inquiries and arrangements, serving as the primary contact point.
