Senior Supervisor
Pertemps is seeking a dedicated Senior Supervisor to join our team, focusing on operational excellence within the cleaning sector.

Role Overview
The Senior Supervisor will play a crucial role in supporting site management with technical cleaning operations. This includes overseeing labor and resource management, ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of equipment, and upholding Health & Safety standards. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing scheduled tasks while also being responsive to unexpected operational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management of cleaning personnel to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
  • Optimize resource management for effective team and individual performance, contributing to capacity planning.
  • Support the Paint Shop Manager and other Site Contract Managers by providing close supervision and addressing any employee conduct issues, including Health & Safety violations.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations regarding equipment usage.
  • Assist in sourcing reliable cleaning equipment.
  • Adhere to service and maintenance protocols for cleaning machinery.
  • Conduct internal training sessions for staff development.
  • Prepare reports and provide support to the management team.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Demonstrated people management experience.
  • Familiarity with Health & Safety management systems.
  • Certification as a Lead Quality Auditor for both first and second parties.
  • Proficient in problem-solving methodologies.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Experience in handling customer inquiries and complaints.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of COSHH regulations.
  • IOSHH Managing Safety certification.
  • Effective delegation skills.
  • Relevant degree.
  • Experience managing staff in an industrial cleaning context.
Skills and Personal Attributes
  • Ability to blend determination with diplomacy to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Strong management capabilities with excellent organizational skills.
  • Self-driven to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Proficient in creating professional documents using Microsoft Office.
  • Skilled in process analysis and improvement.
  • Able to prepare and deliver presentations effectively.
Additional Information
  • This role involves supervising a team of five supervisors and approximately 80 operators.
  • Working hours are structured across three fixed days per week.
  • Flexible rotation between day and night shifts is available.
