Job Title: B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join our team at easyJet Airline Company PLC. As a B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform maintenance activities on our fleet of A320 and A320neos to industry-leading safety and technical standards.
  2. Carry out defect rectification and routine servicing using the latest tools and technology.
  3. Work under the guidance of Duty Engineers or Aircraft Maintenance Supervisors to ensure the highest level of technical reliability.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  5. Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and processes.

Requirements:

  1. Hold a UK Part 66 B1 License (preferably with A320 type rating).
  2. Operational maintenance experience.
  3. Technical knowledge of aircraft and hand skills required for the job.
  4. Comfortable using aircraft maintenance documentation and computer-based reporting and recording systems.
  5. Working knowledge of health and safety legislation.

Location & Hours of Work:

This full-time role will be based in Gatwick, working either NNNN 10.75 hour shifts or DDNN 12 hour shifts. Shift pattern will 4x4 with occasional travel requirements to easyJet's headquarters or network locations.
