Aircraft Engineer (EASA Part 66 CAT B1/B2) Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aircraft Engineer to join our London Heathrow Line Maintenance team. As an Aircraft Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and certification of A320/321 aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and certify Line Maintenance work in accordance with company, regulatory, and Health and Safety requirements.
  • Implement the Aer Lingus security of aircraft program and participate in continuous improvement programs within the Maintenance and Engineering Department.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the highest level of aircraft maintenance and safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Hold a current unrestricted EASA Aircraft Maintenance B1 and/or B2 Licence with A320F, CFM56, and LEAP.
  • Familiarity and experience of using IT systems, including the MS Office Suite.
  • A high level of flexibility, including a willingness to travel on request to assist with recovery of aircraft in AOG situations.
  • Capable of and prepared to work shift, based on a 24 x 7 pattern.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Hold a valid EEA/UK passport allowing unrestricted worldwide travel.
  • Be eligible to apply and obtain relevant ROI and UK immigration/entry visas required for the role.
  • Hold a full clean driving licence.
  • Prepared to complete a medical questionnaire and medical examination.
