Payroll Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Manager to join our team at Equal Education Partners. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee compensation while adhering to all government regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process for our temporary workers, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process for our internal staff, maintaining accurate records and reports for audit purposes.
  • Oversee international payments, ensuring timely and secure transactions.
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate data on employee remuneration and deductions, implementing improvements in payroll systems and procedures as needed.
  • Process payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working as a Payroll Manager or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll software, including BrightPay and Xero, with a proven track record of implementing efficient payroll processes.
  • Payroll certification (e.g., CIPP, APA, or equivalent) is highly desirable, as is advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
Benefits:
  • Part-time (2 days per week) & permanent position, with a salary of £12,000 / annum (FTE £30,000 / annum).
