The Electrical Project Manager will work on a 4-month contract basis, collaborating with the Grid Compliance Team, commissioning manager, SAP, AP, and Site Manager to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop comprehensive plans and strategies for electrical engineering projects.
  2. Review and evaluate project designs for compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
  3. Review, update, and follow cable lists and termination lists of the project.
  4. Collaborate with the Grid Compliance Team, commissioning manager, SAP, AP, and Site Manager to ensure project success.
  5. Prepare and manage project budgets, closely monitoring expenses and resource allocation.
  6. Provide onsite supervision and guidance to the construction team during project execution.
  7. Identify potential risks and uncertainties related to electrical projects and develop contingency plans to mitigate their impact.
  8. Maintain clear and open communication with client consultant, contractors, architect engineer, engineering team, and regulatory authorities.
  9. Promote energy-efficient and sustainable practices in electrical engineering projects.
  10. Ensure projects comply with relevant codes, safety standards, and regulations.
  11. Encourage innovation within the team, exploring emerging technologies to enhance project efficiency.
  12. Stay informed about advancements in electrical engineering practices and technologies.
  13. Work with the project management team to align electrical engineering activities with project schedules and milestones.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  2. 3+ years of proven experience in electrical engineering project management.
  3. Proficiency in schematic diagrams, layouts, and electrical system planning.
  4. Knowledge of transformers, switchgear, and distribution panels.
  5. Experience in creating and reviewing electrical drawings using CAD software.
  6. Ability to conduct electrical testing and commissioning procedures.
  7. Ability to perform power systems analysis studies.
