About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at a leading mental health hospital in South West London. As a Psychologist - Adult Eating Disorder Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the continuous development of our service, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients with eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual assessments, formulation, intervention, and consultation to provide specialised clinical psychology input.
  • Deliver comprehensive psychological therapy and skills training, utilising a range of clinical psychology theories.
  • Provide direct clinical work, assessment, supervision, and training to a friendly therapeutic team.
Requirements
  • Qualified as a Psychologist registered with the HCPC.
  • Prior experience in eating disorders is desirable, but not essential.
  • Experience working with patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder, neurodivergence, trauma, and personality disorders is also desirable.
  • Knowledge and understanding of eating disorders and related comorbidities.
  • Excellent organisation and leadership skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
