Escape Recruitment Services is partnering with a leading Manufacturing client in Fife to recruit a skilled Electrical Technician on a permanent basis.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our client's workshop-based team.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to produce high-quality trade papers and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
The basic salary is competitive, and you will have opportunities for overtime and additional day rates for travel.
Job Purpose
To design, install, maintain, and commission electrical systems and installations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and apply electrical engineering drawings and specifications.
- Select and install Ex-rated cable glands, containment, enclosures, cabling, and connectors.
- Have in-depth knowledge of various electrical components and systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Prepare detailed service reports, maintain accurate records, and complete all paperwork, test procedures, risk assessments, and toolbox talks to a high standard.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have a strong background in electrical engineering and a proven track record of working in a workshop-based environment.
Able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
