Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute effective commercial strategies to optimize project cost management.

  • **Contract Administration:**
    • Handle all commercial correspondence and contractual notices, ensuring compliance with contractual conditions.
    • Identify emerging problems proactively and report contractual claims.
  • **Project Closure:**
    • Lead final account settlements on all projects, ensuring adherence to project authority and agreed-upon timelines.
    • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for smooth project closure.
  • **Expert Advice:**
    • Attend project meetings and offer expert advice on commercial matters.
    • Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, quality, and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • **Budgeting and Forecasting:**
    • Collaborate with project managers to develop accurate project budgets and forecasts.
    • Review and negotiate variations/change orders with subcontractors and clients.
  • **Record Keeping:**
    • Maintain accurate records of all commercial activities, including contracts, variations, and claims.

Requirements:

  • **Education:**
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • **Experience:**
    • Proven experience in cost control and contract management.
    • Industrial project experience and fluent English are must-haves.
    • Experience in NEC4 type contracts is preferable.
  • **Skills:**
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate multiple aspects of the project simultaneously.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with project stakeholders.

Working Conditions:

  • **Work Schedule:**
    • 08:00 AM to 06:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
  • **Lunch Break:**
    • 1-hour lunch break daily.
