What You'll Do
You'll rotate through exciting placements that are designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed. Experience the hands-on work across our Nuclear new build sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and use mathematical models to support Fission Gas Pressure calculation benchmarking
- Analyse severe accident modelling data for Hinkley Point C
- Interact with EDF R&D with respect to Hinkley Point C safety case consideration of extreme low temperature
- Use Finite Element Analysis techniques to predict Graphite weight loss in the AGR reactor cores
- Develop the arrangements for operating Hinkley Point C when complete

Requirements
To join our team, you'll need a 2:2 Bachelor's Degree or a 2:2 Postgraduate Degree (obtained or expected) in Engineering, Science, or a related subject. You must also meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which generally requires you to have been a UK resident for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
