We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Integrated Management System (IMS) Auditor to join our Technical Communities in the South West of England. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective deployment of our IMS, providing assurance that our processes and practices meet the requirements of Licence Condition 17 respecting Nuclear Safety.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Audit Programs: Support the development of a risk-based internal management system audit program that provides assurance that IMS processes are operated in conformance to requirements and are effective in delivering intended results.
- Liaise with Stakeholders: Liaise with the Environmental and Health and Safety functions to capture their inputs into the development of the Integrated Management System Audit Schedule.
- Engage and Coordinate Auditors: Engage and coordinate the existing pool of management system auditors, defining the scope, criteria, and objectives for each IMS audit and ensuring the requirements are understood by the assigned auditor.
- Ensure Effective Audits: Ensure that audits are planned effectively with effective engagement of stakeholders and auditees, identifying and correctly categorizing findings – Non-Conformances, Observations, Good Practices, and Opportunities for Improvements.
- Produce Accurate Reports: Ensure that audit reports are produced accurately, internally reviewed, and published within agreed timescales.
- Monitor and Analyze Results: Undertake appropriate monitoring, measurement, and analysis of audit results in order to identify improvement opportunities.
- Liaise with IMS Engineers: Liaise with the IMS Engineers to ensure audit data is available for review by Certification Body Assessor.
- IRCA Lead Auditor Qualification: IRCA Lead auditor qualification (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001: 2018, ISO 14001:2015).
- Experience in ISO Standards: Experience in the application of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards in a multidisciplinary project environment.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Self-managing with strong organizational skills.
- Advocate for Best Practice: Act as a strong advocate for best practice, able to support and defend practical deployment and solutions, whilst remaining open to the ideas of others.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analysis of data, preparing reports, and making recommendations.
- Influencing and Communication: The ability to influence and to provide constructive challenge which is accepted by others, and the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
