About the Role:
- Commercial Land Acquisition: Source new sites and conduct due diligence to identify strategic land and commercial development opportunities.
- Site Acquisition Specialist: Collaborate with consultants and manage aspects of existing schemes, including marketing, appraisals, and financial feasibility studies.
- Real Estate Lifecycle Management: Assist in development appraisals from land acquisition to project completion, working closely with the planning team to promote sites through the planning process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Land Sourcing: Identify and acquire new sites for commercial development, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
- Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential sites, including market research, site analysis, and financial evaluation.
- Project Management: Manage projects from financial feasibility through to completion and letting, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including planning, design, and construction, to deliver projects efficiently.
Requirements:
- Commercial Experience: Proven experience in commercial site acquisitions and development appraisals, with a strong understanding of the UK industrial and logistics market.
- Technical Skills: Excellent use of Argus valuation software and other relevant tools, with a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
