Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Hunter AHP Resourcing. As a Band 6 Acute Stroke Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to patients who have suffered a stroke.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver high-quality rehabilitation services to patients with acute stroke, focusing on improving their functional abilities and overall well-being.
  2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans, ensuring seamless care coordination.
  3. Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' needs and goals, and develop tailored rehabilitation programs to achieve optimal outcomes.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure informed decision-making and optimal care.
  5. Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based guidelines in acute stroke rehabilitation, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  1. HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
  2. Experience in acute rehabilitation and stroke care.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
