About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centered care and support to our residents. Your responsibilities will include supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants, supporting the clinical team in specific areas such as medication, assessments, care plans, and reviews.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, as well as specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. You will be a warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed individual who is dedicated to providing individualized care and support to our residents. You will also have the opportunity to develop your career through ongoing training opportunities, with many of our Senior Care Assistants progressing into Care Practitioner, Regional Carer, or nursing roles.
