Job Opportunity: KS2 Teacher - Special Needs School

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS2 teacher to join our team at a popular Community Area Special School in Cambridge. The school caters for pupils aged 3 to 19 years old, with a current roll of 175 children supported by an excellent team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach KS2 students with a wide range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) including Physical and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), Severe Learning Disabilities (SLD), Moderate Learning Disabilities (MLD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and speech and language impairments.
  • Work collaboratively with the school team to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Contribute to the school's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
