Main Responsibilities- Supervise and manage the Coagulation and Haematology section, ensuring the smooth operation of the laboratory and the delivery of high-quality results.
- Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with the Haematology Lead to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the effective management of the laboratory.
- Provide training and development opportunities to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of the laboratory's strategic plan and objectives.
- HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.
- Biomedical Science degree or equivalent.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Biomedical Science or a related field.
- Experience of managing people and teams.
- Experience of quality management and quality management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
