We are seeking a highly skilled Driver Trainer to join our team at Culina Logistics in Bristol. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to our drivers, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for new and existing drivers, focusing on driver-related topics such as hours of service, tachographs, and WTD rules and regulations.
- Deliver in-house training sessions, including periodic Driver CPC training, and provide new starter training and inductions.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for enhancements.
- Collaborate with the Transport Management team to ensure seamless integration of training programs with operational needs.
- Provide coaching and counseling to drivers to improve their performance and address any issues related to driving standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all driver training activities, including completion certificates and evaluation reports.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in transportation training and education, with a strong understanding of Road Transport Directive and current drivers' hours regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with drivers, management, and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Knowledge of MS Office applications and other relevant software, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
