Overview
MarkJames Search is seeking a skilled PR Manager to spearhead corporate public relations initiatives for a prominent telecommunications organization. This role is essential for articulating corporate strategy and safeguarding the brand's image and reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement media relations strategies tailored for the Group General Management Committee and the General Leadership Team.
- Foster and maintain relationships with both UK and international media outlets, alongside industry analysts, while overseeing the press office operations.
- Enhance and manage the Group's English-language press office Twitter account and social media initiatives.
- Coordinate with UK-based and Group PR functions, ensuring seamless PR collaboration across various business lines and countries.
- Strengthen partnerships between the London and Paris Group PR teams, as well as with PR managers across the company's global footprint and key spokespersons.
Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of experience in public relations, preferably with a strong background in technology PR.
- Demonstrated media relations expertise and established connections with UK and international media.
- Proven ability to support senior management effectively.
- Experience managing external vendors and agencies.
- Budget management experience is preferred.
- Extensive experience in managing corporate social media accounts and press communications.
This position is a full-time role with a fixed-term contract. It offers a hybrid working model, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work.
