Yourstaff Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled Class 1 Hiab Driver to join our team in Halifax. As a Class 1 Hiab Driver, you will be responsible for the mechanical offloading of building products at various construction sites, developments, private customers, and merchants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a PDA to manage daily tasks and activities
  • Make 4-5 drops per day, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods
  • Use product restraint via strapping to secure loads during transportation
  • Interact with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues
  • Hold a valid ALLMI Certificate
  • Work a standard Monday to Friday schedule, with early starts at 5/6am
  • Work a typical 10-11 hour day, with regular breaks

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 Hiab Driver's license
  • ALLMI Certificate
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
