Lead Culinary Operations with Compass Group UK & Ireland

We're seeking an experienced and passionate Chef Manager to oversee our catering and service operations for DINE. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring our kitchens and service counters run smoothly, delivering exceptional food experiences, and driving sales through innovative food and service concepts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Quality and Service: Ensure our kitchens and service counters maintain the highest standards of food quality and customer service.
  • Culinary Team Supervision: Supervise and support our culinary and catering teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Operations Efficiency: Oversee the efficiency of all in-unit catering operations, including inventory management, budget monitoring, and implementing action plans.
  • Brand Representation: Represent Compass Group UK & Ireland and maintain a positive brand image.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities for new food or service concepts to drive sales and growth.
  • Customer Liaison: Liaise between customers and our culinary and service teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
  • Team Development: Support and train our teams, leading from the front to ensure everyone can excel in their role.
  • Health and Safety: Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.

Requirements:

  • Culinary Experience: A minimum of two years of catering experience.
  • Certifications: Hold an NVQ Level 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 706/1 and 2, and a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
  • Financial Acumen: Demonstrate brilliant financial acumen.
