Job Summary:

A successful contractor in the commercial, retail, and industrial sectors has an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Milton Keynes. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for all aspects of your projects from tender handover to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Running your own schemes, largely industrial schemes within 1.5 hours of Milton Keynes
  • Responsible for all aspects of your projects, from tender handover to completion
  • Reporting into the Commercial Manager on each scheme
  • Typical scheme size 5-10m, with some schemes up to 15m

Requirements:

  • 3 years experience working as a Quantity Surveyor (strong assistants will also be considered)
  • Some form of construction qualification
  • Main Contractor experience
  • Experience running own schemes
  • Experience with industrial schemes is preferred, but not essential, with a focus on steel frame buildings
