Quantity Surveyor Job Description

We are working with a leading building services company to find a Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering projects from design through installation and maintenance, ensuring buildings operate as designed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage commercial activities during the design stage, assist with tender bids, and engage with Sub-Contractors/Suppliers.
  • Collaborate with design, pre-construction, and estimating teams to ensure commercial coverage.
  • Review and negotiate Client Contracts with senior management support.
  • Negotiate and finalize Sub-Contractor agreements.
  • Prepare and submit monthly interim valuations to the Client.
  • Manage and agree on contract variations with both the Client and Sub-Contractors.
  • Prepare and issue payment notices to Sub-Contractors.
  • Agree on final accounts with both the Client and Sub-Contractors.
  • Produce and present monthly financial reports in line with company deadlines.
  • Review the project program and ensure all contractual notices are issued as required.
