Facilities Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Caretaker to join our team at Johnsons 1871 Ltd. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our school and other client locations.
Key Responsibilities- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all tasks are run safely and efficiently, maintaining a positive safety culture and adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
- Client Communication: Liaise with clients to provide first fix to assets, manage work of maintenance, cleaning, and grounds contractors, and report regularly on future resource requirements.
- Site Management: Manage site security systems, including fire alarm systems and intruder alarm systems, and perform temporary and minor repairs as needed.
- Relationship Building: Liaise and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and hirers, and deal with any problems as they arise.
- Reporting and Documentation: Provide and complete compliance and appropriate documentation for the safe running of the site, and report machinery faults and replacements.
- Communication Skills: Strong, effective communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Time Management: Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Problem Solving: Problem solving skills and ability to use own initiative.
