Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Radiologist to join our team at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will specialize in uro-radiology, with a focus on urological imaging. This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term NHS consultant post, with opportunities to support cancer imaging network projects at the Royal Free London.

About the Role

The post-holder will be based at both UCLH and North Middlesex University Hospital, with clinical work including specialist urology imaging at UCLH, acute/general radiology at UCLH, and support for the prostate cancer diagnostic pathway at North Middlesex. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and provide the UroRadiology services within the Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all aspects of urological imaging, including benign urology and cancer imaging.
  • Develop the Radiology service under the guidance of the clinical leads.
  • Participate in teaching and training.
  • Participate in audit.
  • Participate in the general radiology on-call service.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Full GMC registration.
  • Relevant CCT or equivalent.
  • Entry on the GMC specialist register or eligibility for entry within 6 months of the date of AAC.
  • FRCR or appropriate specialist qualification.

The successful candidate will join a close team of UroRadiologists at UCLH, with opportunities for professional development and growth.
