Uniform Care Specialist

Sea Containers London, a vibrant lifestyle hotel located on the iconic South Bank, boasts over 359 rooms and award-winning dining options, all set against the backdrop of the River Thames.

As a Uniform Care Specialist, your primary duty will be to oversee the maintenance and management of all staff uniforms, ensuring they are impeccably clean, well-pressed, and in optimal condition. You will play a vital role in the hotel's professional image by managing the distribution, collection, and inventory of uniforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the distribution and collection of uniforms, maintaining precise records.
  • Examine uniforms for any signs of damage or wear, coordinating repairs or replacements as required.
  • Operate and maintain laundry machinery, including washers, dryers, and pressing equipment.
  • Ensure all uniforms are thoroughly cleaned, pressed, and prepared for use in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Organize and uphold the uniform room, ensuring it remains tidy, organized, and well-stocked.
  • Assist in inventory management, conducting regular counts and placing orders for new uniforms as necessary.
  • Collaborate with various departments to address uniform requirements for special occasions or new staff members.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.

Compensation: £12.60 per hour plus service charge.
