As a Uniform Care Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the management of staff uniforms, ensuring they are impeccably maintained and presented. You will play a crucial role in the hotel's image by managing the distribution, collection, and inventory of uniforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the distribution and collection of uniforms, maintaining precise records.
- Examine uniforms for any signs of wear or damage, coordinating repairs or replacements as needed.
- Operate and maintain laundry machinery, including washers, dryers, and pressing equipment.
- Ensure all uniforms are cleaned, pressed, and prepared for use in accordance with hotel standards.
- Keep the uniform room organized, ensuring it remains tidy and well-stocked.
- Assist in inventory management, conducting regular counts and placing orders for new uniforms as required.
- Collaborate with various departments to address uniform requirements for special occasions or new staff members.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations as well as hotel policies.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.
Compensation: £12.60 per hour plus service charge.
