About the Role

Cumberland Council is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Performance and Insight Team, you will play a crucial role in building data governance, data management structures, and processes that support our ambitious vision for the future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and improve data management systems to ensure high-quality data and evidence are available for decision-making.
  • Lead analysis of evidence aligned to the Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC) Research Priorities, supporting research projects and enabling the production of management information and research data.
  • Collaborate with the Training Officer to develop sustainable evidence user capability across the workforce, providing research training and support.
  • Develop and maintain recording and reporting mechanisms using appropriate software, ensuring accurate and timely management information.
  • Participate in directorate programmes and projects, supporting analytical and statistical work, and preparing reports and presentations for various audiences.
