Student Support Specialist | Primary Education

Position Overview:
As a Student Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive learning environment for students facing behavioral challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with classroom educators and special education professionals to assist students exhibiting challenging behaviors, including those with ASD and ADHD.
  • Engage in the inclusion unit within a mainstream educational setting.
  • Implement tailored behavioral intervention strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Work in partnership with parents, teachers, and school administrators to devise and execute effective solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in a student support, counseling, or related role within an educational context.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with students, staff, and parents.
  • A proactive and compassionate approach, coupled with strong problem-solving capabilities.
