We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Fitter/Mechanic to join our team at Beauparc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our HGV units.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HGV units to ensure they meet the minimum standard.
- Diagnose and rectify vehicle and trailer faults in a timely and efficient manner.
- Prepare vehicles and trailers for MOT inspections.
- Conduct 6 weekly inspections to ensure compliance with company health and safety policies.
- Work unsupervised or as part of a team on larger jobs, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role, with Class 1 license and welding experience preferred but not essential.
- Competitive hourly rate up to £17.50 DOE.
- Basic 40 hours, with O/T paid at 1.5 x basic rate.
- On call based on a rota basis.
- Continual training and development opportunities.
