Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

About the Role:

Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd is seeking an experienced and committed Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our service users in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Support with medication administration and clinical care needs
  • Assist with meal preparation and cooking
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to our service users
  • Monitor and assist with night-time routines, including personal hygiene and mobility

Requirements:

  • 3 months' previous care experience
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of Spinal Muscular Atrophy
  • Ventilation Management
  • PEG Feeding
  • Cough Assist

Working Hours:

  • Part Time Days and Nights
  • 2-3 shifts per week
  • 8am - 8pm
  • 8pm – 8am
  • Alternate weekends are needed for this position

Pay Rates:

  • Weekdays: £13.00 per hour (Approx. £156 per 12-hour shift)
  • Weeknights: £13.50 per hour (Approx. £162 per 12-hour shift)
  • Bank Holidays: £14.00 per hour (Approx. £168.00 per 12-hour shift)
