Qualifications and Requirements:

Educational Background

  • Registered nurse with first level nursing registration from NMC.
  • Possession of a first level degree in a relevant field or currently pursuing one.
  • Post-registration qualification in oncology specialty.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.

Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching certification or in progress.Pursuing a master's level qualification.Advanced skills in communication.Certification in Level 2 psychology skills.

Experience and Knowledge:

Essential Experience:

Post-registration experience in oncology or a related clinical field.Experience in a position with both clinical and managerial duties.Background in teaching and developing educational materials.Highly refined clinical practice abilities.

Desirable Experience:

Previous experience as a clinical nurse specialist.Involvement in audit and research activities.Capability to lead and drive change initiatives.Experience in UGI, HPB, or Gynae Surgical oncology.Management of nurse-led clinics.
